I've kept all of these videos in my DA inbox because I've been so inspired by them. I was sad to realise that no more were being made and perhaps the challenge was over but I completely understood that life gets in the way, but I kept hoping and now I am so glad to see that you are back and that you haven't let reality chase off your ambitions and dreams! Keep pressing forward! Your art is great and you have such cool ideas, I am sure it will all pay off someday!

I had a similar situation whilst at university; in my first year I got into a rut with work. As soon as I'd come in from a lecture I would throw my stuff down and slack off because I felt like I was tired. At the end of that year as I rushed to catch up on the work, I vowed that I would break through my 'laziness'. In my second year I got into the habit that whenever I got in from a lecture or wherever, I would automatically turn on my computer, make myself a cup of tea, and then I would just start working. I didn't let myself pause, I just carried on. And only through doing that did I realise that I had the energy to keep going if only I would keep going.

Saying that though, don't punish yourself for the times when you really don't have any energy left, it's so tough to run a household and keep up with your own stuff.

Lastly, from what you've said I can't help but remember something I read in a self-help book on creativity- the author spoke about people who have affairs, how they somehow find the time for each other in between their jobs and marriages. They do it because they are passionate. The author said to treat your art like it were an affair, grab every spare moment that comes to you. That's always stuck with me, and I think it's good advice. Like you said, bring the notebook to work anyway. :D
